CURIOSITY ||

When Buddha realised the power of his learnings, he realised that it wasn’t for everyone, it can only be for the ones he called “those of little dust”, the ones whose eyes wouldn’t be completely blinded by the dust we all take comfort from once in a while.

This piece has two purposes : remind me how important it is to me to strive daily to be as dust-free as I can, and also to remind me as a therapist that the kind of deep transformative work I so much enjoy can’t be for everyone.

To get rid of our eye dust, the first step is always to follow our curiosity.

Give yourself some love today: make a list of five weird questions that you would like to find the answers to, out of interest or just for fun.

Don’t worry about them being crazy, stupid, useless…

Think “How are dolphins sleeping?” or “How long can a human stay upside down?” type. What would you enjoy learning today?

Now, go ask Google one of those and fill your wonder and inspiration tanks!
