Dr Dan Ornadel is a consultant respiratory physician at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow. He qualified at Balliol College, Oxford and St Thomas' Hospital, followed by postgraduate training at UCH/Middlesex/Whittington hospitals and an MD from London University in the biology of lung cancer.
He was appointed consultant in 1996. His areas of interest include lung cancer, exercise-induced asthma and breathlessness in athletes, sleep apnoea, chronic cough, bronchoscopy, asthma, COPD and sarcoid. He is honorary respiratory physician to the Olympic Medical Institute where he runs a regular clinic for elite athletes with breathing difficulties.
