Mr David Choi graduated from Cambridge University and Edinburgh medical school, and underwent basic surgical training at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His neurosurgical training was at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Glasgow, Atkinson Morley's Hospital London, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square London.
Mr Choi is a substantive consultant neurosurgeon at the National Hospital, performing general neurosurgical procedures, and specialising in complex spine operations for tumours, degenerative disease, trauma and infection.
He has an interest in skull base tumours and the craniocervical junction, endoscopic approaches, transoral approaches, and arthroplasty or fusion procedures throughout the spine.
