He has a clinic at The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre, Golders Green each week. His ethos always is to provide a clear understanding to patients of what they have wrong with them and how it might be treated, aiming to give them the best care he can.
Dr Mort qualified as a doctor with honours in 1993, having read medicine at Oxford University and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital. At Bart's, he was awarded jointly the CC Frears in Clinical Neurology and spent his elective period at the Department of Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. After his acute medical training, he stayed in London to complete research for his PhD and then his specialist training at four of the major London neuroscience centres, including The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. He was a full-time consultant neurologist in the NHS at Chase Farm Hospital and The Royal Free Hospital 2007-2013, before becoming full-time private.
