Dr Nnatu trained in psychiatry on the Charing Cross and St Mary’s training scheme in London. He became member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and he was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2013. Dr Nnatu has dual accreditation with the General Medical Council, in general psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry. He was appointed a full time NHS consultant in 2006. His NHS practice is at Charing Cross Hospital, London where he is the consultant psychiatrist on the psychiatric intensive care unit. He is involved in the teaching of medical students and junior psychiatrists. He is an examiner and personal tutor for Imperial College medical students and he is an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
His clinical interests are; depression; treatment resistant depression; anxiety and stress related disorders; and drug and alcohol problems.
