BIOGRAPHY
Dr Sridharan is a Consultant Paediatric and Fetal Cardiologist.

He covers central and west London. His NHS practice is based at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. His private practice is based at the London Childrens Clinic, the Harris International Patient Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital and at The Harley Street Clinic. He also sees patients at the Hospital of St John St Elizabeth, BUPA Cromwell Hospital and at The Portland Hospital, London.

Dr Sridharan specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and on-going care of all types of heart disease affecting babies, children and teenagers (including holes in the heart such as ASD’s and VSD’s, child chest pain, valve problems and all complex forms of structural heart disease).

Patients are often referred to a Kids Cardiologist for assessment following the suspicion of heart disease from either clinical signs such as cyanosis (blueness), following the detection of heart murmurs in children or due to symptoms such as breathlessness and poor weight gain. A family history of heart problems in siblings or relatives is also often a reason for review. Congenital heart disease in children may be managed in the clinic without the need for interventional procedures or child heart surgery. If these are required, Dr Sridharan is fortunate to work with an excellent team as part of his London paediatric cardiology practice. The care plan created will provide direct access to the best paediatric interventional and surgical doctors in the country.
