, Dipa Trivedi grew up with the yoga philosophy and it has always been an integral part of her life. Her unique style is a blend of Hatha, Flow and Iyengar Yoga
. Dipa travels the globe delivering amazing classes and workshops and uses her lighthearted and playful approach to encourage people to “live life to the fullest” while still staying grounded and understanding one’s role and duties towards others. She is clearly passionate about sharing yoga, the balance of energies, emotions and actions.
Dipa studied in Paris and moved to London 11 years ago. She used to work in the frantic and stressful world of Finance and then decided to leave it behind to fully dedicate her life to teaching Yoga. She realised she can really make a difference in people’s lives and very soon understood that this was her purpose in life and mission. She is very giving and feels she gets so much back also by establishing a trust relation with her students. Her approach consists in putting together yoga asana series with the aim to tone, become more flexible, feel calmer and healthier. Although Yoga for her is a way of life, it is also about giving love, doing good, accepting who we are and learning about the self.
After mastering, to a degree, the physical side of the practice she began to understand that the search was elsewhere. She has always been on a spiritual path and read from very young age ancient vedic and yogic scriptures.
About pre and post natal yoga
Just like a warrior prepares for a long journey, a mother-to-be has to prepare for the arrival of a new person into this world
. Loving a child is also loving yourself and looking after yourself. In birthlight training, Dipa focuses on the mother’s breath, the mindful communication with another soul. Dipa draws learning from tantric practice of dancing yoga and breathing techniques to the lower chakras for birth preparation. The session also includes adjusted yoga postures, relaxation techniques and prenatal pilates.
Preparing mothers-to-be is probably one of Dipa’s most important mission, she feels really strong about helping other mothers to be in tune with their baby
so to start a new journey peacefully.
